Zine: Feminist Architecture Assembly (BE) - PAF x L’architecture qui dégenre
The spaces we design shape who belongs and who is left out. How can we transform architecture and spatial practice to reflect values of equality, care and solidarity?
On Friday 28 November 2025, PAF (Platform for Architecture & Feminism) and L’architecture qui dégenre invited architects, designers, researchers, students and community builders to Brussels. Through a keynote by architect Afaina de Jong, and a diverse programme of workshops and guided tours, we shared experiences, tools and visions for more inclusive and caring ways of shaping space.
The Assembly served as an open meeting ground for everyone from those deeply engaged in feminist practice to those curious to learn more. Together, we connected across generations, languages and disciplines to work towards collective insights for feminist futures in architecture.
In this Zine, you will find a report of the day, the diverse outputs from the workshops and our key takeaways for the sector.

DIY Printing:
Start by printing the first two spreads of the PDF double-sided on thick, heavy, bright colored paper. Make sure to use colored paper rather than printing in color—this creates a more striking effect.
Next, print the remaining spreads, from page 3 to page 32 in the PDF, double-sided on thinner paper. Once all the pages are printed, fold them carefully in half. To assemble the booklet, you can either staple along the fold or use an elastic band placed in the fold. This will hold all the pages together neatly and create a finished booklet.
